With only 5 years of teaching experience under my belt I'm definitely no expert - this space is really going to be about me organizing my thoughts, my life as a teacher, and the countless resources I am gathering each and every day. Teaching has become, since the beginning of my career, such an inspirational and motivating profession and I want to take advantage of every bit of it!
Educated and teacher-trained in Ontario, Canada, I taught for one year for the HDSB before moving to Singapore and teaching at an international school for 4 years. Now I'm living and working in Houston, Texas in the independent school system. I have my Bachelor of Arts in History and Comparative Literature, My Bachelor of Education for Grades 7-12 English and History, and I'm also and ESL certified teacher. Most of my experience has been teaching IB-MYP Humanities and I am now teaching Grade 9 World Geography and Cultures.
